An experiment with transferring encaustic wax to fabric, then adding in the detail with more wax and then some handstitching. I am quite pleased with this, nothing like patting yourself on the back. Next thing to work on is my slow cloth bookcovers to cover journals for Christmas presents. A litle like winter here today, certainly a fire tonight, maybe a wine or two to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary.

Hot Lips, Sweet Dreams

My husband I have just returned from a week at my brother's farm, saw some very nice orchids and and a few other wildflowers as we travelled home. What a difference rain has made to the crops although short and there is a lot of feed around. Most dams on my brothers property. have water in them although not full. Many farmers are not running sheep and many have reduced their flock numbers because of last years drought.
